• Achieve accurate power for clinical trials and ensure the error associated with the outcome is always reasonable
• Avoid bias and decrease variability in studies and avoid negative influence on the outcome of the study
• Master statistical terminology to communicate more effectively with statisticians
• Handle special circumstances such as outlier data to avoid study manipulating errors
• Recognize the difference between clinical and statistical significance and prepare your findings to be considered significant in real world matters
• Develop a complete statistical analysis plan and create the basis for your final report
• Interpret statistical analysis found in study reports and properly address the statistical points drawn out ICH guidelines
